I love getting to walk alongside friends during this time in our lives. Most of my friends are seniors and are in the throws of thinking heavily about the next steps in their lives, and in that process, discovering new dreams and passions (myself included).
For example, Emily, is an awesome designer. She's realizing the dream of joining a company that uses graphic design to make an impact. (I think that's pretty awesome.) Check out her website, and if you have any graphic design needs, get in touch!

not enough talking lately
Lately, I've been blogging through pictures, mostly because its faster and easier, and definitely NOT for lack of things to say. In fact, I haven't been talking a lot on here lately because there's just too much going on in my head and I'm having a hard enough time sorting it out up there, let along posting it here for all the world to read. But I think its time for a little outward processing.
The biggest realization that's begun to hit me lately is that I'll be a college graduate in just seven weeks. I'm leaving this place that has given me so much, and I'm both heartbroken and so excited for it. I'll miss these people that I've grown to know, that I'm in love with, that have played a big role in making me who I am; I'll miss being a student at a Christian liberal arts school; I'll miss my church and the community it offers; I'll miss Boston and the North Shore and living three minutes from the ocean. But I can't wait to see what God has next. There are a ton of options on the table, and I just can't wait to see which one its going to be!
In other news, my brother is having a great time with the team in Namibia. Their times of ministry have been fruitful and God is using them to touch the people that they are encountering. My heart is definitely with them, and I'm feeling called back to Africa more than ever! I can't wait to hear more about their adventures.

And this is what's been going on lately:
I presented a poster at NEPA in Burlington, VT.
Went to the fair, saw New England's largest pumpkin (1,600 lbs!) and pretended we were 6.
At home in PA for quad break, we went to a nursery where they had a mound of mums, that you could walk around, over, and under!
Pumpkin picking for Jen's 23rd birthday!
Sarah came to visit!

Nostalgic.
This week's post on The Sunday Creative is "Nostalgic". What is more nostalgic than pictures that are probably 14-18 years old, and represent a time without homework? (Let it be said that anything that represents a time without homework is looked upon fondly by me right now!)
Left to right: Jon, Matt, Zac, Mark, Me, Jen: The Bohner/Gettis/Cambria kids at the beach! |
Me & my cousin, Matt...I'd say we're 2ish? So maybe 1991? Talk about a time warp. :) |
